Inquiry Block

Here I will show what I am learning in our class inquiry.

Last week my class and year five went on a school camp. It wasn't the best camp I have been on but it was fun. We all did canoing,raft building and we got to have a free swim. That was the best well that was my opinion. It was fun we got to go for are morning work which was alright and also at camp we had are tallent contest witch is were you do are akt if you wish to me and my group did breakdanceing we were good I reckon. and that pitcher is me and my friend nero and alex doing the worm that was the best one we did and the hardest one to me.

Camp

Tomorro year 5 and year 6 are going on school camp at Minjerribah. It is going to be fun and exiting. I cant wait!!!!

DAY ONE –
Wednesday, 24th October9:00am: Depart on barge.
10:15am: Travel to Lake10:30am: Morning Tea11:00am: Group 1: raft buildingGroup 2: canoeing Group 3: swimming and water games
12:30pm: Lunch
1:30pm: Groups rotate3:00pm: Groups rotate4:30pm: Arrive at Camp – book in.
5:00pm: Showers and free time
6:00pm: Dinner
7:00pm: Football or activities in hall
DAY TWO –
Thursday 25th October
6:30am: Rise – morning walk
7:30am: Breakfast
9:00am: Swimming in enclosure.
10:30am: Morning Tea
11:00am: Group 1: orienteeringGroup 2: touch tanksGroup 3: boomerang art workshop
12:30pm: Lunch
1:30pm: Groups rotate
3:00pm: Groups rotate
4:30pm: Return to camp. Games on oval.
5:00pm: Showers and free time
6:00pm: Dinner
7:00pm: Talent Quest
8:30pm: Supper
9:00pm: Lights out/bed
DAY THREE –
Friday 26th October
6:30am: Rise. Pack and clean cabins
7:30am: Breakfast
8:30am: Travel to Lookout: Gorge Walk to see dolphins,whales,turtles and fish
10:30am: Swimming at Surf Beach (patrolled) and beach games
12:00pm: Lunch at Beach
1:30pm: Depart Island

Dentice

Today at my school we had the dentice come get people from our class like Nero,
Jack,Alex and people will be going tomorrow but I don't have to go there. People from other classes go also...

Dentice

At my school we have are vane near my class room why because it is the school dentice. I don't like going too it.I don't hafter go to it this year witch is good for me because I realy dont like the school dentice or any kind of dentice....

Weekend!

This friday coming is the last day of school intil we have 2 weeks of it will be fun why because we wont be at school and we wont have to get up at 7.30 I can get up at 9.30 witch is beter than getting up at 7.30. I am not doing any thing on the 2 weeks hoilday I wish I was buuit im not.

board Game

Me and my friend nero made a board game it is about Dragon Keeper it is a fun board game to play there are only 25 squares in the board game it is not that hard it is there is a bridge in the game it is small one and there is 4 squres and they are yellow because they are called the yellow river becuase in the book there is are river called the yellow....

ART

On monday Kim Michelle Toft came to our school and showed us some of her art and books she does very very good art to me and she sels it on the internet and she has a website....

Animal Feeding Strategies

A carnivore is an animal that eats meat.

A piranha is a carnivore.

A omnivore is an animal that eats both plants and animals. A raccoon is an omnivore.

A insectivore is a animal that eats mostly insects. A hedgehog is an insectivore.

A predator is an animal that hunts and kills other animals to eat. A cougar is a predator.

A scavenger is a animal that eats other animals that are already dead.A striped hyena is a scavenger.

A parasite is an animal that lives to find other animal and eats them to live. A leatch is a parisite.

a filtter fidder is a animal that filters watter to collect many small or ganisms to eat. A blue whale is a filtter fidder.

Antarctica

This term we are learning about Antarctica. I have all ready learnt that it can get to minus 62 degrees there.I can't imagine living there and being that cold. I now know that 70% of the world's fresh water is on Antarctica and 90% of the world.'s ice is on Antarctica.
